As the seasons turn and the first whispers of autumn stir the air, I write to you from Caerleone Manor amidst a time of great transformation. Change, like the shifting of the leaves, has taken hold of the estate, and I am pleased to share with you a vision that looks both backward to Britain’s storied past and forward to the gatherings yet to come.

As Caerleone Manor prepares to host the ChariTea—a preview event for the upcoming Spoonful of Sugar Festival—I had the distinct pleasure of sitting down with Ever Courtois, co-founder of the festival and longtime champion of Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders). Over tea (virtual, but no less heartfelt), we spoke about the origins of the event, its remarkable impact, and the joy of giving.

This past weekend, Caerleone Manor welcomed over fifty distinguished guests for the grand opening of Baroque Elegance, a striking photographic exhibition by award-winning artist Hermes Kondor. The estate, alive with music and conversation, set the perfect stage for an immersive experience in Baroque storytelling.

With pleasure and anticipation, Caerleone Manor welcomes distinguished photographer and digital artist Hermes Kondor for the summer season exhibition Baroque Elegance. In advance of the opening, I had the honour of sitting down with Mr. Kondor to speak about his creative journey—from the hard-edged realities of photojournalism to the lush theatricality of AI-generated art.
